It's rare to see someone who is willing to genuinely look at themselves and admit what they did wrong. And then to use it to reach out to others.

that's a huge lesson to me, I tend to make excuses and get defensive. He was willing to lay it all out in front of his family, friends, and congregation. No beating around the bush. He wasn't self-flagellating, he was taking responsibility. He's an incredibly courageous man.
