Indy is a flatter track than most anywhere...which is fine for IndyCars becuase they weigh so little compared to the big hulks of Nascar

Indy weight about 1500-1600lbs, Nascar is about 3200lbs.
You run at 190-200mph around a flat track, one of two things have to happen to keep the car running. Either you let off the gas a bit and let the car drift wide (which makes passing lanes far tinier), or you basically destroy your tires with the stress.
Either way, the cars don't handle nearly as well as IndyCars do and the racing becomes rather tedious instead of exciting.
Unless you like seeing tires fly apart every 10 laps like they did in 2008.
