Especially in a game against a team he just faced.

Often when a pitcher faces a team a second time, they do worse. Especially if the starts are close together.
And in some respects (1 run vs 0, 7.1 IP vs 8.0) he did pitch worse. But he struck out 8 this time vs 3 last time.
And personally, I like that he held the M's new "we need someone to hit lefties" hitter to 0-3 (and Britton also got him out). But part of that is because I thought it was a bad acquisition for Seattle, and then I heard someone say that he would get at least two hits and score a run against Chen.
