His first movie role after people know who he is was Conan.

He didn't return to theatres for a year and a half, and that movie also bombed (though I didn't even know he was in it, which might make it worse). And that was a year and a half ago. He's apparently doing some show for Sundance Channel, but I wouldn't have known that if I didn't IMDB him. And he has some WWE movie I haven't heard of. He needs a hit, and probably one where he's a star, to have people even care that he's in Batman vs Superman. And I don't think I see that in his upcoming films.
Also, I think it's entirely possible that Batman vs Superman, especially any part with Aquaman, throws under Conan.
