"Biggest seller. Quality aside, Man of Steel still made $291 million domestically."

Which is just over where Dark Knight Rises was after the second weekend.

I think people will check out BvS, depending on trailers. I think it will be somewhere between Dark Knight Rises and Man of Steel. But I expect the legs to be notably bad, based largely on WOM. And then Justice League to be the movie that really suffers.
I will concede that Man of Steel did better financially than I thought. Though with the budget, they probably needed it to be closer to Dark Knight Rises. I'm also not convinced that Superman is a ticket seller currently. They finally rebooted (or was it a sequel to the previous films? or a combo of the two?) Superman and it failed in pretty much every aspect. So much so that they needed to try again 7 years later. Which is pretty quick in the world of DC movies. That new reboot also disappointed financially (less than $300M domestic on a $200M+ budget is a disappointment) and mixed at best in terms of reception. I'm not sure how much selling power Superman has left.
