Because I don't view this Batman as that Batman. Neither does DC or anyone involved in the film, apparently.

And my guess is neither will most moviegoers.
But more to the point, BvS is a sequel to MoS. It is not a sequel to Dark Knight Rises. And I think that WB will make that apparent, though they should be trying to convince people of the opposite.
Batman is currently their big seller, so they're trying to use him to boost the MoS sequel. I don't think it will work.
On the other hand, I think Winter Soldier props up Cap 3. And I think the next Avengers movie will help it even more.
