I'm sitting in my brother's brand new house, which is 5.5 (approx) times as big as my apartment. My brother's mortgage is quite less than my rent.

But I realize the trade-offs. I don't want to live in this town (despite the great model homes), I don't want buy a car, and I don't want to leave the city.

And I would pay 10% less income tax here.

Maybe someday. But I have no desire to leave the city. Just dreaming.
