i don't know if i mentioned the concussion? he also had a concussion.

anyway - yesterday he had surgery on the bone. Repairing the orbital bone (and it was cracked from his eye socket to his ear.) he'll be in hospital till tomorrow it looks like.

but still all good news for his actual vision.

so, he will be fine, he says, but he's got a lot of healing ahead.

i have to confess - i was playing first base last night, and every time a left hand batter got up, i got a little nervous. that's new.
