i have to assume they can have it ready before that...

my issue is i would *like* to not put on my wedding clothes and then drive 2.5 hours, then go to a wedding on a hot august day. i would like to change there, in the expensive room that i apparently only have access to from 4pm to 11am.

the person i just spoke to told me we were welcome to 'change in the pool cabanas if our room wasn't ready" and that they would 'put our bags in the room' and we could just 'pop over to the hotel reception building during dinner to pick up the keys.'
