remember how yesterday i was stressed out over not being able to talk to my advisor over the thesis work and some of you said not to worry? well . .

i just got an email from the department head saying that this friday -- 2 days from now -- is the deadline for submitting thesis proposals. also, i've not heard back from my "advisor" since monday before I emailed her to try to meet up and work out something.

oh, and i'm supposed to work tomorrow during the day and chances are slim at best that I'd be able to meet with her tomorrow even if she does contact me and try to work something out to meet. So, best case scenario? i drive an hour to meet with her on Friday, work something out, and get something submitted to the department that afternoon only after working my ass off to write up the proposal and getting it ok'd by her to submit that afternoon . . .

so, anyone want to tell me not to stress out over this now?
