well, if i haven't heard back from the dept. head in the next hour and a half, i think a phone call will be necessary . . .

i'm supposed to go into work this evening at 3 and work until after 9 pm . . so i'll effectively be out of pocket and unable to do anything. and oh yeah, i am supposed to go back in tomorrow morning at 8 and work until 3 . . .

i'm thinking that i'm going to need back-up from a family member helping me out, monitoring emails and / or making phone calls at this point. my only real option for doing anything tomorrow is getting out from work about 3 o'clock and literally driving like a bat out of hell to the campus and try to work out something before offices close tomorrow afternoon, and then probably have to go back on Friday to meet with some people.
