the corn is bi-color Michigan sweet corn - and rumored to be "very good" - I'm betting we are the first to serve corn on the cob at soup kitchen

which just makes me grin

I love doing something unexpected that they might really like - and we'll be prepared to cut it off the cob too if someone can't handle it that way..
