My wife commutes to work with public transit and we are down to being a 1 car family.

I never ever ever ever in my life thought I would be without a car.
Since we split our bills 50/50 I pay her the IRS .55 a mile when I borrow her car. She pays for the gas and car repairs since it's her car.
So I basically rent it when I use it.
