ok, ST . . . when describing sketch art that's done in pencil, is it enough to say "done in pencil" or "graphite"?

I'm not "art speak" saavy enough to know what's the most appropriate way to describe it (I'm looking to describe something that's fairly elaborate and not just a simple little picture, like it's a picture sketched in pencil and there's a lot to it . . . lots of shading, coloring in, etc.)
