In my personal experience lately, Delta has been better operationally and customer service wise.

Flipside: United runs non-stop on the route (though apparently on a crappy CRJ-200 which I hate)

Yes, if I book return on Friday, I can get a non-stop ... but if I want to stay part of saturday, no non-stops available :/ -- nm

(The friday nonstop leaves at like 6pm or something, so it would eat into the workday. And the day in general.) -- nm

And there's this: Delta does not fly to YYJ. -- nm

Delta and Alaska only codeshare some markets, I'm not seeing SEA-YYJ in that.

Delta's codesharing on Alaska has always been selective, but it's also drawn down a little as Delta builds up its Seattle hub

E-175 is a nice sized regional jet. Probably seats around 70 people (depending on config)

United has screwed two of my coworkers with cancelled flights in the past month, so maybe Delta is the better bet. -- nm
