I think it suffered from being right after the S2-E1 episode which is just fantastic. (spoils)

I like how Lestrade was used; Sherlock actually not being completely a douchebag is much appreciated at times.

Oh, for sure. That is the natural rhythm for shows, but when your seaosn is only three episodes, it stands out more. -- nm
