The point he made, that I liked, was that depression (as a disease) is not fatal.

To suggest that it is, is to suggest that the sufferer is powerless against it.
And for someone looking for a way out...he's very right, that could be the final straw that pushes them over the edge.
Again...I'm probably coming from a different place today.
