From 1994-1999 I lived in College Station, TX

A town that, for most of my time there, didn't even have a Top 40 station. It had 3 country station, an alt-rock station, a classic rock station, and a mix station. The mix station really didn't play rap. The mix station played crap, really.

It had a hardcore rap/R&B station, but I didn't listen to it, as that's not music I much enjoy.

That the one phase of my life where I listened to a lot of country music (the mix station was that bad, and the alt-rock station was infused with Nirvana-wannabe's in the 90s)
