so, i'm talking w/ a guy that I used to work with, who now does tattoo art and does some artwork on the side (like water colors), and I might be . . .

using some of it for some stories that I've previously written and which it's probably overdue for me to try to publish. I've seen some of his work, and it's actually quite good. I don't know that I'd have him do something for *everything* that i'm going to eventually publish, but based on what I've seen he could definitely illustrate / do cover art for one or two things that I've written, and there's potential for other things if I ever get around to writing them in the future.

I'm waiting to see what he thinks about doing a few things "on commission" for me and gives me the okay to use them in my books / stories, or if he's going to want to ask for a cut on anything that I make from royalties / sales . . .

I used to work with this guy (I think I said that already) and he's a pretty straight up guy, so I don't think that he'd try to run me through the ringer. I'm pretty sure that, when we're ready to move forward, he and I will be able to work out something both sides can happily agree to.
