Let's be Cops - C there are 2 scenes that demonstrate the two leads physical comedy chops. The bits are outstanding.

The movie itself doesn't quite make it work though. Diva and I have been talking and given the budget and how well it likely will end up doing, both in theaters and afterwards, we hope they make "Let's Be Cops Again" (title by Diva).
I also saw, "Far from Heaven" which is extremely well done. It's sad but a great example of bringing you through a family's emotional journey through very traumatic times. I enjoyed the subtly. I don't mind Spielbergian Emotional bombast but a lower, quieter execution is nice too.
I also happened to catch parts of Good Will Hunting twice over the weekend. Both times I was about 5mins from the Bench Scene and stayed to watch it. I can't think of anything to do there differently. It's perfectly acted, tempo'ed, set and filmed. One thing I picked up on was RW's expression a few mins in. At first he talks about very safe, non personal things but just before he starts talking about his own experiences he pauses and gets a particular expression on his face. It's almost as though he's wondering if he should say these things and then preparing himself to bring up literally the most painful memories of his life. "Is this kid worth it?"
RW also pauses painfully at the point where he asks Will the Oliver Twist question. It's that bit that every person has gone through, as a child when you're being scolded and not sure if you should answer/speak before RW continues. But there are 5 seconds RW just let's hang there as Will can't look at him.
It's a devastating scene.
