Semi-Complicated answer inside (in part: it depends)

How are you traveling to the airport: by cab or by mass transit? If by cab, LGA is closest and easiest.
If my mass transit, LGA is still closest, but involves a train to a bus. JFK involves a train to a train, so a bit easier, but further. Newark involves a train to a train (or a train to train to a train, depending on where you originating) but is also doable.
LGA will cost basically $2.50 on public transit, JFK $7.50, and Newark around $12-17 (I forget exactly). Cabs to any of the three will be quite a bit more.
There are also (private) airport express bus options
------------
Other factors to consider:
1. Where are you flying to
and
2. Do you have a preferred airline?
The first question is because non-stops from LGA can only fly 1500 miles maximum. MCI is < 1500 so this will work (though I don't know if the non-stops exist)
The second question has to do with hubs. United is huge at Newark, minimal elsewhere. Delta big at LGA and JFK. AA moderate at LGA and JFK.
