They're on the plane....
from the Ew recap.....
Adult Barry has decided that he’s had enough of being in Abbudin and orders his family pack up and get to the airport STAT. Like the insolent brat he’s been through the entire episode, Sammy says he’s going to go talk to Uncle Jamal. Since when did he get so freaking close to Jamal? Just because he heard him tell a funny story or two in the sauna? There is nothing in the episode to suggest that Sam has a dear affection for his uncle. But all of a sudden, he needs to go talk to him. Barry snaps and brutally slaps him across the face not just once, but twice. Doing that probably shows more of Barry’s maniacal tendencies he’s been keeping dormant. But due to the newfound fear they all have for Barry, they quickly scurry out of there.
Let’s not forget that before this happened, Jamal was once again seen abusing a woman — this time, his wife. All she was doing was telling him that he was now the head of the family and he needed to be strong. And why doesn’t Barry do something? Instead of hitting your son across the face, how about coming for your brother for disrespecting and abusing a woman?
_C0A0440The family gets on the plane, but of course, they won’t be able to go anywhere — the Al-Fayeed family has basically ordered the plane to not move if Barry is on it. But before the officials come to take Barry and his family back to the palace, Molly is having an inane argument with Barry. It’s inane because it’s an argument they should have had many, many years ago, possibly before they got married. She wants to know why he won’t say what happened between him and his father, why he won’t open up, and how his emotional wall has somehow damaged the relationship he has with his kids. Apart from slapping his son, when have we seen him having a damaged relationship with his kids? Was all of this off-camera, before the pilot even began?
The one character that hasn’t been introduced in this recap yet is John Tucker, part of the American Embassy in Abbudin. It’s clear that all he cares about is living in the lap of luxury. Who cares that civil rights are being violated at every turn? As long as he can lounge by the pool and live like a king, he’s fine! He also didn’t have much to do in this episode except act rich.

I will say I think they fixed some things about all the characters...it does take a few episodes to do so....but stay with it....
