Did anyone watch the final season of "Wilfred" (massive, series ending spoilers).

I finally binged my way through the last season. It was good and ended great, I thought. It was almost all mythology which got heavy at times but I still dug it.
The more I think about the reveal, the more I like it. It's in keeping with the dark tone of the show that Wilfred gets a leg chopped off and dies of cancer. I loved that Wilfred was a figment of Ryan's imagination as a way to cope with his genetically inherited insanity.
The last season was light on the laughs but delivered payoff. I will miss their boundary pushing writing.
