i'll take a billy club or night stick any day of the week. at least with those, i have a reasonable chance at several shots before it's too late . .

even if it is close-range / close quarters . . . i'll take my chances in close against a knife-wielding crazy dude with a billy club if it means multiple chances instead of a (literal) one-and-done thing.
