honestly, what's the point. It's not going to be better than Broadchurch. It was one of the rare seasons of TV that (mildest of spoilers)...

promised characters the audience would get invested in and a mystery to solve. I haven't felt for characters in a long time like I did in that show. It was crushing. And the mystery was well done and for once there was payoff. What was so incredible about it was that it was satisfying to the audience and there was just enough ambiguity that a good writer craves.
It's an impossibly high bar for Gracepoint.
