The opening is apparently from Youtube. I don't know about the new theme.

I'm not a fan of the opening. I think it only works if it is tied into some payoff. Since it is apparently a fan-made open that Moffatt found on Youtube, I doubt that is the case. Unless things were written to fit with it. I wouldn't like that scenario, either.
I really didn't like the new opening theme. It was too high, and was missing something important. It kind of fits with the new Doctor and his "keep away from me" aura that they want to project. But you don't ever want the opening theme to say "keep away" as well as that one does.
My actual thought when watching (before knowing that they wanted The Doctor to be so standoffish) was that the new opening was designed to get people to stop watching.
