What helps me is to choose who I'd want on my team if I could pick anyone.

So, since you have 7 picks left. Choose the 7 players you'd want including DEF (forget kicker) that are still available. Then choose the next 7 you'd want if those 7 aren't available.
Now, you have 14 players on your list, and will probably get you through 2 rounds, possibly 3.
