Even though Rose is very driven and pushes her kids and Herbie far too hard and too long I have always ALWAYS thought of her as sympathetic. (how could anyone not?) It would be interesting to see how far the production went with that.
Have you had the chance to listen to the score of Assassins? You might want to beforehand if you're planning to see the show.
