It's easy. Draw a random SEC team out of a hat and draw a random (other conference team) out of a hat. Who would you bet your life on?

Even if it wasn't random. The preseason #5 team in the Pac-10 is Arizona State.
Oregon, UCLA, Stanford, USC.
The preseason #5 team in the SEC is LSU.
Would you bet your life on that matchup?
Go deeper. A&M is 7th. Missouri is 8th.
Who is the #7 or #8 team in the Big 10? Northwestern?
The SEC is the gold standard right now. It just is. They get the best kids. Not all of them pan out, but look at recruiting. It isn't even close.
