"There's only one movie that I think was a mistake. When I was about six, they showed me a movie called E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial. I don't know how many super vivid memories you have of being six years old, but I remember losing my shit at the end of that movie. I was not emotionally prepared for that, never had a pet die.
"What are you really gonna learn from a horror movie, knives are sharp? What you learn from E.T. is that some day, someone you really care about might choose never to see you again. Freddy Krueger just makes you afraid to take a nap. E.T. makes you afraid to let love into your heart."
