Nate's 40th birthday party. He is such a total dick in this episode. Now that Brenda wants to get closer to him, he pulls away. And almost kisses Maggie.
Favorite scene - George and Billy sitting on the front porch, sneaking a beer, talking about their treatments and medications. And then they sing "Daddy sang Bass". A brilliant Six Feet Under scene.
Close behind was David and Keith taking Rogers two kids to the Beauty Salon for haircuts. Those kids had no filter at all and it cracked me up.
Character Rankings of Likability.
1. Keith - Nate had the spot for a while, but fucked it up. Keith has been smooth and steady this season. Plus Keith hanging with Brenda and Maya moved him up.
2. Brenda - She tried so hard this episode to please Nate and Nate was such a fucking bastard.
3. George - He was fairly lucid, funny and is also trying hard.
4. Rico - Is he getting back with Vanessa? Hope so, they make a cute couple.
5. Claire - She would have been higher if she didn't fuck the divorced guy.
6. Ruth - She tried a little, but still has this major grudge against Claire.
7. David - I am ranking David above Nate because he wasn't as whiny and clingy as he usually is and he didn't have sex with the hairdresser. Though he started to.
8. Billy - He fucked up by not taking his meds and it showed, but he tried.
9. Nate - Just a total dick all episode, even down to his half hearted "Sorry" to the bird in the garbage can.
