I detested Jason Bateman to the point that the payoff, which I'd guessed rather early on, was still not valid enough. If I'm going to watch something with no redeeming characters, it better be one helluva 'important' movie.

The movie really kicked into gear once him and kid became 'enemies', but that was still only 25 minutes left in the movie.

Ultimately, it was a pretty weak movie.
