Respectfully, the plot holes or weak villain are things that do detract from films

you should demand the best quality you can get for your expensive tickets.
If I have to shut off my brain for a movie, it's a weakness of the movie becuase sitting mindless for two hours can be a helluva lot cheaper than theater prices.
