The problem is that at least in my version of Word in order to use wildcards you have to turn them on in the Find/Replace box. So I turn it on to use the * but when I do that, it sees the [] as wildcards instead of actual characters to replace.

I've also tried "["*"]" and that didn't work.

    - With the find you just go for one bracket [ instead of the whole thing. - the liioulu with earcovers Mar 12, 18:05
