This is news becuase a huge organization has simply failed in every manner conceivable about an issue that's gaining visibility in America.

The reporters weren't blindsided; they're just realizing now they too are on the wrong side of the frenzy and to prove they actually are doing their jobs instead of sycophantically kissing the NFL's ass, are coming down harder than they would have if they'd done their jobs right in the first place. Well, all but Peter King...he's actually calling into question his entire journalistic career.
