not so much an "office" mystery as it is a "church" mystery . . . details IM . . .

the top floor of the "education wing" at our church (where there are rooms for SUnday School classes and what not), there are a few rooms on the periphery (where the external wall is) that in turn have little "sub-rooms" that form the actual exterior parts . . . there was one room in particular years ago that had something of an urban legend of sorts attached to it.
supposedly a kid died "years ago" who was a member of the church, and he haunted the top floor, this room in particular. Once, when a friend of mine and I were there, we were passing by and saw that the room's light was on. we thought nothing of it. there weren't many people at the church that afternoon, but it would not have been unreasonable to think that someone had gone in and either was still there or had forgotten to turn the light off. we passed by a little while later and the light was off. we went in just to look around.
the lights weren't working, but only in that room. we chalked it up to the ghost, but honestly, in retrospect, it could have been a legitimate and easily explainable electrical issue.
