I guess I just look at the show differently then. I view it more as a news show with laughs.

I expect them (DS and Colbert) to call out the media and political douchebags on a regular basis.
When I just want some think-free laughs I watch How I Met Your Mother or Big Bang Theory or some other sitcom.
