i said "i don't need to learn, i'm cute, somebody will stop and help me" (which, for the record, was true the one time it happened in my 20s and i was on a main road).

My dad was NOT pleased with that response. I got in a lot of trouble (and I didn't learn how to change a tire at that time, i should have just listened.)
