It was good. It was actually good. Maybe better than last season. The dramatic elements were best. The action is still surprisingly poor given the pedigree. And the whole U.S. Versus SHIELD dynamic is just a macuffin to take the show in a different direction. I don't like it and I don't feel it stands up. There were other ways to make SHIELD be "underground" while still hinting Hydra.
I think the best was the Fitz reveal at the end. What gets lost in that little bit is that Fitz is still a genius. What we thought was Simmons helping him out is actually his subconscious.
Heck, they even did justice to the Absorbing Man.
