Mindy: It's a show Fox likes, but the ratings have been going down for the past year. It should never have been renewed and it's showing that now.
New Girl: Since the first season it's had mediocre ratings. It's syndicated, so Fox probably doesn't care.
Forever: Seems to be holding well, but I think it'll never be big, because it's too familiar to what is already available on television.
NCIS NO: These shows are all hits, the same audience watches them all, so I expected this.
POI: I love this show (full disclosure). I think the big problem lies in the fact that this show is hard to catch up on. CBS rarely made the first few seasons available online, and I think that it's a show that when people see, they think they need to see every episode in order to understand. It's hard to binge this due to availability.
SHIELD: The boring first season ruined this show, and it won't recover. if it didn't recover after a massive Captain America movie, which was released while the show was on the air, Avengers 2 won't help.
General: Audiences are finally realizing that they don't have to watch network tv if the shows look bad. If the show is a re-tread or boring, or looks familiar they can go to cable. Cable has interesting shows, and very few of the top rated cable shows are similar. This leads into my whole idea about re-tooling network drama ideas, while pushing comedies. But this is just a quickie.
