I disagree. I think it's got an engaged fan base that makes up for it not having a large fan base. Networks

need at accept that raw numbers aren't nearly as important as having passionate viewers.
There's probably a ratings number this show can't fall below without being cancelled, but that number is a lot lower than CBS would need to see from an NCIS spinoff to consider cancelling it.
If networks kill all the shows with passionate fan bases they'll only be left with "maybe I'll watch TV" where people never bother to engage with a show and watch it consistently.
It also helps that AoS feeds intro the larger movie universe.
