There's no doubt Walmart is cheaper for most purchases. But the regular clientele there carries a certain stigma.

The stores have never looked shabby to my eye, but coupled with the bad rap (deserved) that the company gets, I see why people would stay away.

- I've only been to our walmart grocery once, but their regular prices were def. lower than our other stores regular prices. not sale prices, though. -- nm - b! Sep 27, 19:08
