Downhill since Murrow. But it just gets worse and worse with not one organization or station to standing up for what's best for the people of America

We're vastly uninformed on news everywhere, not just world news. Most people don't know the first thing about what's going on in their own city, let along across the country or around the world.
It's their job to report on those things and bring it to us so we're a more well informed society. That's not happening anymore and we're a dumber society because of it.
Maybe PBS is doing some decent reporting but they're so underfunded it's hard for them to do all that much. I look at CBS, NBC and ABC and wonder what happened to them and their high quality news programs. It may be a long time since they were good but I still believe that they can do it again and I won't stop holding them to a higher standard.
