There's one part that just creeps me the hell out every time. (mega-mega-spoilers)

The penultimate scene in the pool, particularly the part where the P.O.V. is underwater, and you see the kid's feet and lower legs being dragged rapidly back through the water, kicking, and all of a sudden ... they stop ... .
That is just a brilliantly conceived scene overall.
