I have gone into the room. I wanted my cat to be less afraid and I wanted to say goodbye.

He went to sleep very peacefully and I had as much time alone with him after he passed as I wanted. I'm glad I did this.
I do not look forward to the next time.
Other cats I've had died at home and in a way this is easier.
