Here's something I've been pondering -- ST should tell me why this wouldn't be a good idea.

You divide a state into numerically equal segments using straight lines, as in link, using a computer.
If we want to keep the same number of representatives per state, we'd have fewer districts, because every new district would be represented by two or three representatives, however many it takes to make the correct total.
You get to vote for 2 people or 3 people, depending on how many representatives your district has.
