It's part of who he is. Hot Doug's wouldn't be Hot Doug's without him. Over the years who could have made way more money opening more locations,

having longer hours, etc. That's just not him. There was a time when he was only open when he felt like it. He had random hours over the course of the week for a few years when he first opened before he finally settled in.
