thanks!

what you described is pretty much exactly what I went through with my K.C. thyroid then some kidney, and trying so many things to stimulate her appetite.

adding some dairy products, which I had limited most of her life, did the trick for the longest while -- my sister, who cared for her when I traveled, actually bought her a little stuffed cow, who we called "moo" aww, because of that; and that sister also discovered she liked various parts of a Jack in the Box "breakfast jack" heh.

I've shared some of this with ST in the recent past:

I had a bonus year with K.C. giving her fluids at home. she gained some weight back and was ok for several months before her final decline started.

I let her do all kinds of things while she could, and worked to increase her quality of life when she got weaker - we took her for walks wrapped in a blanket. she loved the fresh air and being sat on the grass for a while. like a little old lady having an outing. (she was 17.5 when she passed, and she did it at home the night before I was going to take her in -- she gave me one last gift.)(NoCryingAtWork!)

I hope your girl makes a comeback for you, and that you get some good bonus time; and that, when the time comes, you'll know you did your best for her.

so many of here know, and we're here for you throughout.
