I couldn't really get too emotionally involved. With half the book left to go he really had to solve this problem and carry on. The question was always 'how' not 'if'.

Wondering how it will translate for the movie. Will they use the diary as subtitles or will he read from it. Without his descriptions of what he's doing will we understand?
