Been trying to get information on how contagious Ebola is. My findings based on Internet research are inside.

It's the internet, so it's as true as you want it to be.

They say it is spread through bodily fluids, including saliva and sweat. That made me think, it must be easy to catch if you are, say, on a plane.

from what I can figure out, it APPEARS that Ebola is mainly spread through vomit and feces. There are virus particles in other bodily fluids, but these seem to be far less significant. According to the WaPo, Ebola is a caretaker's disease. We know that kids catch it, but apparently that is not the norm. In most households, kids don't catch it. Only one in seven household members catch it, and that person is usually the caretaker.
